Cookie Policy

This policy explains exactly which cookies Amezly uses, why we use them, what data they collect, and how you can control or delete them at any time.

📅 Last updated: June 10, 2026 📄 Version 2.1 🇮🇳 Applies to amezly.com
🍪 What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, to remember your preferences, and to give website owners information about how people use their sites.
Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or install software. They simply store small amounts of text data that can be read back by the website that set them.
💡
First-party vs Third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by amezly.com itself — they remember your login, language choice, and preferences. Third-party cookies are set by external services (like Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) that we embed on our site. You can control both types from your browser settings.
⏱️
Session vs Persistent cookies
Session cookies expire when you close your browser tab — they store nothing permanently. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them — these are used for things like keeping you logged in for 30 days.
📋 Types of Cookies We Use
Amezly uses four categories of cookies. Essential cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them. All other categories can be disabled using the preference panel on this page or by adjusting your browser settings.
🔒
Essential Cookies
Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
Always Active
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the basic functions of amezly.com — user authentication, session security, CSRF protection, and load balancing. Without these cookies, you cannot log in, access your dashboard, or use any Amezly product. They do not track you for advertising purposes and contain no personally identifiable information beyond a random session token.
⚙️
Functional Cookies
Remembers your preferences and settings.
Optional
Functional cookies make your experience more personal by remembering choices you've made — like your dashboard layout, notification preferences, chatbot widget position, and timezone. Disabling these cookies will not break the site, but you may need to re-enter your preferences each visit.
📊
Analytics Cookies
Helps us understand how visitors use the site.
Optional
Analytics cookies help us measure and understand how visitors interact with amezly.com — which pages are popular, where users drop off, how they found us, and what device they're using. This data is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify you personally from analytics data. We use this information solely to improve the website and our products.
🛡️
IP Anonymisation enabled
All analytics tools we use have IP anonymisation enabled. Your full IP address is never stored. Google Analytics data is processed under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR.
📣
Marketing & Targeting Cookies
Used for advertising and retargeting.
Optional
Marketing cookies track your browsing activity across websites to build a profile of your interests. This allows us (and our advertising partners) to show you relevant Amezly ads on other sites — for example, if you visited our pricing page, you may see an Amezly ad on LinkedIn or Google. These cookies are disabled by default on amezly.com. You must actively opt in to enable them.
⚠️
Disabled by default
Marketing cookies are turned OFF by default. We only load them after you explicitly opt in using the consent panel. If you have not opted in, none of the cookies listed below are active on your device.
🔗 Third-Party Services & Their Cookies
Some features on amezly.com are powered by third-party services. These services may set their own cookies on your device, governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We list all active third-party services below along with links to their opt-out pages.

⚖️ Your Cookie Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA) and general data privacy best practices, you have the following rights regarding cookies:
Right to Consent
You may accept or reject optional cookies at any time using the preference panel on this page. Only essential cookies are placed without consent, as they are necessary for the site to function.
🔄
Right to Withdraw Consent
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by revisiting this page or clicking the cookie icon in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of cookie use before withdrawal.
🗑️
Right to Delete
You can delete all cookies set by amezly.com through your browser settings at any time. See the Browser Controls section below for step-by-step guides for each major browser.
📋
Right to Information
You have the right to know exactly which cookies we set, what data they contain, how long they last, and what they are used for. This policy provides that complete information — see the cookie tables above.
🚫
Right to Opt Out of Marketing
Marketing cookies are disabled by default. If you previously opted in, you can opt out at any time by toggling "Marketing" off in the preference panel and clicking Save Preferences. You can also use platform-level opt-outs via the links in the Third-Party table above.
🌐 Browser Cookie Controls
All major browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies directly. You can also configure your browser to block cookies from specific sites or block all third-party cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to Amezly.
⚠️
Impact of blocking cookies
Blocking all cookies will prevent you from logging in to your Amezly dashboard and may cause certain features to behave incorrectly. We recommend allowing essential cookies at minimum, and using our preference panel to control optional categories.
🛑 Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal that informs websites that the user does not wish to be tracked across sites. There is currently no universally agreed standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals.
Amezly's current position: We do not alter our cookie behaviour in response to browser DNT signals because there is no consistent technical standard. However, we honour your preferences set via this Cookie Policy page and the consent panel above, which gives you more granular control than DNT provides.
🔔
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We are actively reviewing support for Global Privacy Control (GPC), a newer privacy signal supported by Firefox and Brave. We intend to honour GPC signals as a valid opt-out of marketing cookies in a future update (target: Q3 2026).
🔄 Policy Updates
We update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, change third-party services, or update our data practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
If we make significant changes — particularly to how we use marketing cookies or which third parties receive data — we will notify you via:
  • A notification banner on amezly.com on your next visit
  • An email to your registered account email address
  • A changelog entry on our Changelog page
Continued use of amezly.com after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with any changes, please withdraw your consent using the preference panel and contact us at the address below.
